Can a UTI be assessed online?
Some uncomplicated urinary symptoms may be assessed by telehealth. Testing or an in-person examination may still be required.
Will I receive antibiotics?
Only if the doctor considers an antibiotic clinically appropriate after assessment. Other causes and antimicrobial safety must be considered.
When should I seek urgent help?
Seek urgent care for severe pain, fever with flank pain, vomiting, marked illness, pregnancy-related concerns or rapid deterioration.
